In 1994 Dr Joss graduated from the Medical Academy in Lodz, and in 2002 obtained her specialisation title in Dermatology and Venereology. Two years later she defended her PhD dissertation on spot baldness.

After her graduation she spent ten years working at the Dermatology and Venereology Clinic of the Medical University in Lodz, and later became an independent consultant in a number of specialist outpatient clinics, e.g. Luxmed Medical Centre. For more than 20 years she has treated dermatologic and venereological conditions in adults and children as young as neonates. In her daily practice she removes benign skin lesions by means of electrocoagulation and cryotherapy.

For the last five years she has participated in clinical research regarding the use of new biological therapies in the treatment of psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. Dr Joss-Wichman holds a license to practice medicine in the UK issued by the General Medical Council, and offers medical consultation in Polish and English. She also holds a number of certificates to confirm her practical skills with regard to dermatology treatments employing electrocoagulation, cryotherapy and laser therapy.

She has done a series of specialist courses concerning dermatoscopic assessment of pigmented lesions.
